Christian has an eye infection - poor little guy!
Last night Christian's eye was a little swollen which we thought was very strange because we knew he hadn't bumped it. This morning when he woke up his eye was all puffed up, so we made an appointment to see the pediatrician in the afternoon. Then this morning he got two nose bleeds - super weird!
Christian's pediatrician thinks he has periorbital cellulitis - a fancy way of saying an infection in his sinuses ended up in his eye, so hopefully his ten day antibiotic regimen will clear up his sinuses and eye infection.
As you can see from the above picture Christian also has a bruise on his forehead that his little sister gave him when they were rough housing on the floor (don't mess with Abbie - she may be small but she's tough).
Christian's such a brave little trooper though - as you can see he still has a huge smile on his face! :)
Best part - school picture day is Friday - awesome.
