Here's the bird's eye floor plan.
We live in a 3-bedroom apartment in the family housing at Calvin Seminary. There are eight seminary families living in our building. Here are some pictures of our new home. We really love our new apartment! Here's the bird's eye floor plan. You walk in the front door and see the living room and the slider door to the back yard. We love our new living room! The kids have so much fun to play and rough house with Daddy. :) The back yard is HUGE and there is also a little playground to the left of our building. The kiddos have spent so much time outside. They love all the space! If your turn around you'll see our eat-in kitchen. Wow - so much cabinet and counter space! At least triple what I've had the past four years. Mommy is loving all of this space! :) If you look down the hall you'll see four doors. Going clockwise and beginning on the far left they are the doors to the bathroom, Abbie's room, the boys' room (at the end of the hall), and the parents' room (the door on the right). Bathroom Abbie's France Room Christian and Isaac's Australia Room Parents' Room We love our new home! We feel so blessed that God gave us this wonderful apartment on-campus and are excited to live here the next two years! :)
We're expecting Baby V #4 in January! We're so excited to be a family of six soon! I am 15 weeks pregnant now. Thankfully by God's grace the pregnancy has been going smoothly with no complications. Christian and Abbie are super excited to have a new baby brother or sister in six months (and Isaac of course has no clue what's going on - haha :)!
Below is a profile picture of our littlest one sucking his/her thumb a few weeks ago. So blessed! :) To celebrate Christian's 7th Birthday we had a Superhero Party! The kiddos played "Hot Kriptonite" (exactly like hot potato). They tested their Spiderman skills by shooting villains with silly string. And finally (my personal favorite) the little superheros attacked an evil villain with water balloons for stealing their party favor candy (aka Greg was a living pinata). To eat we had "Hero Subs," carrots that "improved laser vision," strawberries that "boost invisibility," and of course rainbow cupcakes and ice cream. Christian had such a wonderful time celebrating his 7th birthday with his sweet friends! :) We took the three nuggets to see the Statue of Liberty before we head to Michigan in ten days! A fun way to start out the week of Independence Day! |
