Saturday we celebrated Abbie's 4th Birthday with a Pink Ballerina Party for her and 17 of her little girlfriends! Abbie's amazing dance instructor, Miss Theresa, led Abbie and her friends in a fun time of dancing, and as a special treat she had our little birthday girl come up front and help lead too. Miss Theresa even had Abbie help lead her favorite dancing song "Doe a Deer" from the Sound Music musical. We had lots of pink foods - bagels with strawberry cream cheese, pink chicken salad, strawberries, pink marshmallow fluff cones, pink popcorn, pink cookies, strawberry applesauce, pink lemonade, etc. At the end of the party we had a ballerina slipper pull pinata for the girls.
Abbie is turning 4 this week! Below are the pages I added to her scrapbook with highlights from her 3rd year of life. (As always doing these 10 pages just took me three evenings to complete doing my Scrapbook Plan - check it out because scrapbooks are such a sweet memory you can create for your children and they aren't as daunting a project as you may think! :)
Last week Abbie went to the “Little Ladies Club” to celebrate her friend Samantha’s birthday. The girls received manicures, pedicures, formal curly hairdos, lip gloss, glitter, and dressed up in princess costumes. It was the perfect girly day for little Abbie!
Monday we had our 29 week appointment for Baby V #3 and he's doing great! He's measuring about 5 days early at 3 lbs. 3 oz. We are in the third trimester and final stretch of this pregnancy. We go back for a regular appointment in two weeks. This is the first appointment of this entire pregnancy that is just an appointment with no ultrasound! We feel so blessed that this pregnancy is normalizing here at the end, and continue to pray that God will keep both Mommy and Baby V #3 safe and healthy.
