I teach 6th-7th grade Sunday school at our church. Over the past few weeks my young teens have been asking a lot of questions about Evolution vs. Creation, so together we researched some evidences for creation and made a bulletin board in our Sunday school room. My main objective in this project was not to provide my teens with ammunition to throw at their evolutionist science teachers, rather my main goal was to strengthen their Christian faith as they came to understand that there is much evidence for creation. I hope it strengthens your faith in your Creator God as well!
1. Bible
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
The Bible clearly states that the universe and life began by God speaking them into existence. Genesis 1-2 records God creating the earth, seas, sun, moon, stars, fish, birds, animals, and humans. All Christians who interpret the Bible literally have clear evidence from Scripture that God, not evolution, is the source of our existence.

In the entire fossil record, there are no transitional forms proving a causal relationship between two different species. From the millions of fossils we have discovered, there should be thousands of clear examples if they existed. The lack of transitions between species in the fossil record is what would be expected if life was created by God.

Polystrate fossils point to rapid burial and are evidence for the reality of the global flood recorded in the Bible.

If the earth were just a little closer to the sun it would be too hot and the ocean's water would boil away, much further away and the earth would be covered continually in ice. Earth's circular orbit maintains a roughly constant temperature year-round. The earth's tilt provides the changing seasons. The presence of the moon provides tides to cleanse the oceans. The presence of large amounts of water is necessary to sustain life. A minor change in these or any other parameter would make life on earth impossible.

The theory of evolution requires that the earth be billions of years old in order for evolutionary transformations to occur. In reality the evidence suggests that the earth is less than 10,000 years old.
- The earth's magnetic field energy has been decaying at a factor of 2.7 over the past 1,000 years. At this current decay rate, the earth could not be greater than 10,000 years old.
- According to evolutionary theory, comets originated at the same time as the solar system five billion years ago. Each time a comet revolves around the sun it loses 1-2% of its mass, so after several hundred rotations the comets disintegrate. At this rate of loss comets could not exist longer than 100,000 years. The existence of over 100 comets in our solar system indicates the earth is less than 10,000 years old.
- World population growth rate in recent times is about 2% per year. Practical application of growth rate throughout human history would be about half that number. Starting with eight people, and applying these growth rates since the flood of Noah's day (about 4500 years ago) would give a total human population at just under six billion people. However, application on an evolutionary time scale runs into major difficulties. Starting with one couple just 41,000 years ago would give us a total population of 2 x 10 to the 89th power (that's a 10 with 89 0s behind it).

Art work and various ancient artifacts depict live dinosaurs interacting with humans. Fossilized footprints of humans and dinosaurs together have been discovered.
